Who would have thought that chuckwagon racing would be such an adrenaline rush? Its a whole new lifestyle that I've been learning about these past 2 months and it is so much fun, and its a huge family that they have that help eachother out whenever help is needed, be it giving a friend a beer, lending a horse, or giving advice. They're always helping out one another and the comrodary is priceless.
I have been lucky enough to travel with Brice to quite a few of his races, and its so much fun! The itinerary consists of eating, sleeping, drinking, and racing. What more could you want right?
Brice unfortunately has a few sore horses right now that are on his main team, so were hoping and praying they come around. So on his hitch now are his two old faithfuls! Good luck Nutmeg and Smokey :) ha ha. Brice got 7th in hardisty 2 weeks ago, and did really well in Red Deer as well coming out every night but once (Saturday) clean. Woo hoo
The horses are amazing, the races are so intense, these guys do everything they can to come out clean and with a good time! If you haven't been to a race yet, now is the time. Its something else let me tell you.
