As most of you know, I've been waiting for my 3rd surgery, yep count em...1..2...3! Ridiculous huh? Anyway, I was supposed to be having it in November, however when I called in to find out what the deal was, they told me that my doctor is taking a vacation. Fancy that eh? So now, I won't be able to get it until around February. Luck just doesn't seem to be on my side when it comes to medical issues. Sigh.
Lately, I've been going out to one of the local stables called Gordeckos with one of dad's co-workers Debbie to watch and start learning to rope. So last week Ken says to me, "Alright Joe, it's time to get you chasing some steers. Hop in the chute, back up, nod, and just chase er down!" So I did. I finally got to get in the chute and chase a couple steers down. I'm so excited to start throwing the rope and catching etc. it's such an adrenal rush for me I absolutely love it. Deb and Ken are ropers obviously, Ken heads and heals, Deb heads, and I would like to head as well. Im pretty excited about it all and having the guys there makes it that much more enjoyable, we have an absolute blast :)
And then there is my love life who has recently become active! Yeah finally eh? Ha ha. His name is Cole Boyd, he's from Calgary and is a Flames fan which is something I will just have to work on ;) He goes to school here in Camrose, is a Buisness Managment major with a minor in History. He absolutely lives and breathes for the game of basketball and even coaches the junior high girls basketball team at Charlie Killiam. He's an all around good guy!!
I'm still workin my butt of here, and christmas is coming so Merry Christmas to you all, hope your taking care of yourselves and best wishes in the new year!
